The Director

• Monique Jeremiah (English, Business, Human Resources, Legal Studies, OHS and Academic Writing)

Exceptional Tuition and Resumes was proudly founded by Gold Coast entrepreneur and academic, Monique Jeremiah in May 2010. With a highly goals-orientated and patient approach, Monique is highly  motivated in helping all individuals to achieve their academic and career aspirations. Holding a Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, OHS representative and a Certificate IV in Small Business Management Monique is highly experienced as an academic tutor, business trainer and writer.  Previously she has taught in both universities and training organisations and was a past winner of the prestigious DUX award in 2001 and 2002. In business and in the community, Monique is also currently the 2012 Gold Coast Young Citizen of the Year, a past winner on the 2011 Australian Anthil Magazine 30 Under 30 Up-and-Comers list and a contender in the 2012 Australian Small Business Champion Awards. Overall Monique is dedicated to helping ambitious high school, university and international students to truly excel in their education and achieve great OP scores and GPAs and job seekers to succeed in obtaining employment.

The Business Tutors

• David (Business, Accounting, Finance and Marketing) is a highly approachable and light-hearted tutor with a highly enjoyable sense of humour. Holding 10 years tertiary teaching experience of both local and international students, in Australia and NZ, David is highly competent in all areas of banking, finance, accounting and marketing.  He is also equipped with Bachelors Degree in Finance, a post graduate Diploma in Banking, a Diploma in Business, a Cert IV in Financial Services (Mortgage Broking) and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. In all regards, David is a true expert in the area of accounting and finance.
• Ian (Business and Economics) is a friendly, articulate, and highly confident tutor in the area of business. Currently he holds an Associate’s degree in Science majoring in Business Management and a Bachelors of International Business. During his study he obtained a position on the Deans List for 2008 and as a tutor takes great care in building understanding with his students and catering to their individual learning styles.

The Academic Writing Tutors

• Julie is a highly patient and kind tutor who holds a Bachelor of Arts (major Education), a Post Graduate Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours (major Education), and a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning. Julie commenced her own study as a mature student with preschoolers and so understands the challenges faced by mature students and conversely the focus and maturity they bring to their academic endeavours. Julie is highly skilled in essay writing, structure, and research, being offered a PhD scholarship following her postgraduate work. With a highly positive and enthusiastic nature, Julie loves working with all age groups to facilitate their learning. 
• Liam is a highly experienced tutor and writer who has excelled wonderfully in the area of English and literature. Previously Liam has completed a Bachelors Degree with Honours in Medieval English and History, a Post Graduate Certificate in Secondary Education and a Master of Arts. He is now completing his PhD in Creative Writing. As a gifted academic and published writer, Liam has also taught Senior English for more than two decades and has been the Head of English with a highly recognised private high school on the Gold Coast.
• Jessica graduated from a Post Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education and has worked as an English/ Social Sciences teacher for the past 5 years. She is a qualified TESOL teacher and in the process of becoming an IELTS examiner. In 2011 Jessica will graduate from a Bachelor of Law Degree and once admitted, pursue a career as a lawyer. 
• Jan is a highly caring and understanding tutor who specialises in the area of essay and report writing. Holding a Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts (Writing) and Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education, Jan comes with a wealth of experience in working with international students.
• Marc is a highly experienced tutor and writer in the area of business. Following his graduation from university he lived and worked in Japan and taught ESL, business communication and writing skills. He has also previously taught at Bond University specialising in teaching business core skills, management, HR, IELTS and TOIEC. At present his qualifications include a Bachelor in International Business, a Master's in Applied Linguistics, a Master's in NLP, a Certified presentations trainer certificate and a Cert IV in Training & Assessment.

The Maths  & Sciences Tutors

• Ravi (Mathematics A, B & C, Biology, Chemistry, Physics) is a highly knowledgeable and positive tutor with a wonderful attitude to all endeavours. He completed high school in 2006 in NSW after receiving a University Admissions Index Score (UAI) of 99.15 and consistently demonstrates excellent strengths in mathematics, science and English. He has successfully completed his first year of a Bachelor of Optometry/Bachelor of Science degree at the University of New South Wales. Currently Ravi is completing his 3rd year of a medical degree at Bond University. In every regard, Ravi is encouraging, academically- minded and a pleasure to learn with.
• Derek (Maths A & B, English, Economics, Chemistry and  Biology) is a highly conscientious and high achieving tutor who is currently studying a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science / Graduate Diploma of Dentistry at Griffith University. Derek previously achieved a 99.75 UAI score in the top 0.25% of the state in NSW during his high school years and currently holds an amazing GPA of 6.72 GPA in university. As a past recipient of the Premier's Award for High Achievers in 2008, the Griffith Honours College Award and the Griffith Award for Academic Excellence in 2009 and 2010, Derek is pleased to present himself as a highly goals orientated tutor with a personalised teaching style.
• James (Mathematics A, B, C, Chemistry and Biology) is a very patient and highly qualified tutor who has undertaken extensive education to pursue his interests in science. Currently he is completing his PHD in Plant Systematics at UQ and has previously completed a Master of Science in Molecular Biology, a Bachelor of Science in General Biology and a Full International Baccalaureate Diploma. As a true academic, James is passionate about sharing his knowledge with students.  
• Tyler (Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Chemistry and Environmental Science) is a highly competent tutor who specialises in mathemetics and science based subjects. Holding a Bachelor of Science (Environment) majoring in Natural Resources & Pollution and a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting and Advanced Accounting, Tyler has worked in a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and data analysis positions.
